High current mercury free slip ring
IDM Electronics introduces the new P+ series of slip rings to provide reliable rotational connections at up to 1000rpm for power and signal transmission
Ideal for heated rollers, machine tool and other process applications, they are fully ball raced and can rotate at up to 1000rpm continuously Mercury free, they are also perfect for use in the food industry and can be mounted in any orientation without problem

New modular slip-ring assembly matches user needs
With gold plated rings and gold alloy brushes, the H Series miniature slip-ring assemblies is suitable for all video and digital signals
The P+ series offers a higher current carrying capacity than the existing P2 and P4 series, with two channels of 14A and two of 2A, but retains the same overall size.
This makes it particularly valuable for high speed heated roller applications and export applications in countries such as the USA that distribute at lower voltage than the UK.
Maximum voltage is 240V, the dielectric strength is 500V at 50Hz for 10 seconds and the insulation resistance is greater than 200 megohms at 500V DC.
Silver slip rings and gold alloy brushes provide reliability at low cost and standard spade terminals allow for rapid installation.
The P+ is available with either flying leads or spade terminals and features a new robust design, making it perfect for even the most demanding applications.
It can also be configured to suit customer's exact requirements.
