IDM Electronics has introduced a new Mini version of its popular H Series slip-ring assemblies.

IDM Electronics has introduced a new Mini version of its popular H Series slip-ring assemblies.

Available as a six-way standard or flanged version, the Mini H series is designed to provide a compact and reliable solution in a wide range of applications where space is at a premium.

At only 12.5mm long, the new Mini version is only half the size of a standard H series slip ring.

The 10mm diameter housing is available either with or without a 41mm flange at one end and three 5.5mm diameter holes in the flange make fixing easy.

Supplied with 300mm long flying leads, the new slip rings are suitable for use in miniature electronic assemblies such as CCTV cameras and cable reeling machinery.

Rated at up to 2A and 240V, H Series slip rings use gold plated rings, gold alloy brushes and precision ball bearings to give a maximum speed of 400rev/min.

They can be used at temperatures from -20 to +90C.
