InduSoft will host a meet and greet event that includes multiple seminars, product demonstrations, and a visit by the Microsoft Across America traveling exhibit.

The all-day event, to be held at the InduSoft main office, 3445 Executive Center Dr in Austin, Texas, is scheduled for April 19th, 2007.

Seminars include topics such as database monitoring, InduSoft CEView, PLCs and OPC, and will be held in the onsite InduSoft training facility.

Product demonstrations and hors d'oeuvres will be provided in the demo room and InduSoft technical and sales experts will be on-hand to provide information.

The Microsoft exhibit is scheduled from noon until 4:00PM in the Microsoft Across America truck, which will demonstrations of applications that use the latest Microsoft software products, including Vista, Windows CE and Microsoft Mobile.

The truck will be staffed by a Microsoft technologist who can answer questions from the general public, information technology (IT) professionals, and industrial users.

Marcia Gadbois, Vice President of Business Development at InduSoft, says that the exhibit is a perfect opportunity for those in the manufacturing industry to learn about industry trends and share information with other professionals in the industry.

"We've been in this industry for more than a decade and we are a Gold Certified Microsoft partner".

She says, "We therefore have a opportunity to host this exhibit and explain current industry trends and how Microsoft products work in an industrial environment".

InduSoft will demonstrate how InduSoft Web Studio, CEView and its other software products can be used to help integrate monitor, and control plant floor or process plant, from the sensing and control devices on the floor to the business software in the executive suite.

"CEView was the first product of its kind when it was introduced in 1997, and it remains the most advanced offering in the industry", says Gadbois.

"With the convergence of mobile and computing technologies now underway, new applications will emerge that were simply not possible before".

"One of the most significant developments made possible by Indusoft's CEView and Microsoft software is the ability to monitor and control a plant with handheld devices, such as cell phones, PDAs, and Pocket PCs from anywhere in the world".

"Business has become mobile, and visitors will have a first-hand look at this exciting event" she adds.
