Seminar on changes to measurement accreditation

The IEE is to host a one-day seminar to provide an update on upcoming changes that may affect accreditation activities in the measurement industry.

The IEE is to host a one-day seminar, organised by the Measurement, Sensors, Instrumentation and NDT Professional Network, to provide an update on upcoming changes that may affect accreditation activities in the measurement industry, particularly the ISO/IEC Standard 17025 and uncertainty of measurement.

The event, to be held on 6th May 2004 at Abington Hall Conference Centre in Cambridge, will also highlight some new developments in accreditation related activities, such as the New Approach Directives, the Environmental Agency's Product Performance and Personnel Certification Schemes.

Presentations will include experts from UKAS, the DTI and industry to cover new developments in accreditation requirements for calibration and testing laboratories.
