Awards to honour tech teaching
excellence
Outstanding primary and secondary school teachers are being sought for the 2004 IEE National Teacher Awards.
Outstanding primary and secondary school teachers are being sought for the 2004 IEE National Teacher Awards The annual awards recognise the enthusiasm, dedication and good practice of teachers who encourage students to develop a keen interest in subjects appropriate to electrical, electronic and manufacturing engineering
Up to 12 awards will be presented to teachers from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Anyone with personal experience, such as a current or past student, parent, governor, colleague or advisor, is invited to nominate suitable candidates, along with a secondary supporter, by 5th July, 2004.
The winners will be announced in September with a gala awards evening to be held on 19th November.
Winners will receive one night's luxury accommodation for two, a teacher supply cover for one day, GBP 100, one year's IEE membership and a framed certificate. Request free introductory details about products from Institution of Engineering and Technology ...
