Control and automation meeting set for
Glasgow
The IET is hosting the second of its regional meetings for those studying and working within the area of control and automation in Scotland.
An IET Control and Automation Regional Meeting will be held on 8th November 2006 at Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow, UK Following on from the highly successful inaugural event in Manchester in December 2005, the Institution of Engineering and Technology is hosting the second of its regional meetings for those studying and working within the area of control and automation in Scotland

This innovative event is aimed at bringing together those already involved with the institution through the technical and professional networks, local networks and business partners and also people from universities and industry.
There will be a series of short presentations from the Control and Automation Network, Glasgow Local Network and one of the IET's business partners.
This will be followed by a keynote presentation: "A personal perspective on the past and the future of control", by Mike Grimble of the University of Strathclyde.
Refreshments will be provided before the presentations and there will be a buffet afterwards together with ample time for networking and discussion.
