IEI Technology, a provider of industrial PCs, has spun off its medical division, Pacsmate Technology, to the company ICP.
Since 2006, Pacsmate has operated as the medical-focussed business division of IEI Technology, focussing on high-resolution medical displays and medical panel PCs.
Since inception, Pacsmate has developed monochrome and color diagnostic displays for medical applications.
In 2008 Pacsmate was awarded the 'Taiwan Excellence Award' for a 30-bit ultra high resolution colour monitor series with deep-colour support.
A line of monochrome displays sports Pacsmate's Grayboost technology, ensuring precise image quality to the technical specifications required by radiologists.
For general use, the POC medical panel PC series is a touch-screen panel PC for use in medical environments.
Pacsmate will continue as a part of ICP, benefiting from the group's manufacturing expertise and strategic and operational efficiency, allowing quick and professional development of further medical-grade products.
