The Institute of Spring Technology has released a new range of manually operated spring load testers.
IST is also offering the network version as standard at no extra cost.
Major new features in the Version 7 include new EN design standards, the ability to select from EN, BS, DIN or SMI design methods, as well as the option of BS, DIN or SMI tolerance rules.
The software incorporates a full range of EN, BS, DIN and ASTM spring materials, flexible methods of spring specification and new and improved user interface, as well as relaxation data covering commonly used spring materials, enhanced graphic displays and formatted reports and plots available as printouts and clipboard copies.
Written and developed to be fully interactive for the spring designer, programs are currently available for round wire compression, torsion, extension, conical, rectangular wire compression, volute and disc springs, as well as rapid prototyping.
