The Institute of Spring Technology has released a new range of manually operated spring load testers.

The Institute of Spring Technology has released a new range of manually operated spring load testers.

The all new LTM 1 and LTM 2 spring load testers incorporate as standard the ability to test both extension and compression springs.

A high rigidity and robust loading frame, with deflection compensation combines with the capability for one or two test loads/lengths, as well as spring rate and associated tolerances.

Multiple load and length units and single ultra-high-resolution load range with grade 0.5% accuracy from 0.5% to full scale.

The easy-to-use menu-driven software enables numerical SPC analysis of results for up to 1000 springs.

Results are automatically backed up in case of power down.

The embedded computer uses a backlit graphics LCD, and a wipe-clean membrane keyboard with telephone key layout for ease of use.

Power requirement is 110/230V AC, 50/60 Hz.

Additional options include: twin mechanical stops for rapid testing, selectable low ratio worm drive, extended travel and serial printer for test certificate printing.
