Featuring both crossflow and counterflow designs, convoluted core heat exchangers provide as much as 99W/C of closed-loop heat removal capacity A powerful fan is used to draw the heated air, created by the enclosed electronic equipment, over the heat-absorbing convoluted core

Using the principles of thermal dynamics, the heat is transferred to the ambient side of the core where heat is absorbed by the cooler ambient airstream.

The conditioned air is then recirculated into the equipment enclosure to repeat the heat absorbing process.
