Adhesives improve ferrite core production times

An Inseto (UK) product story

Inseto has introduced a range of adhesives from Delo of Germany to assist the production of ferrite cores.

Inseto has introduced a range of adhesives from Delo of Germany to assist the production of ferrite cores.

The one part anaerobic and anaerobic light cured adhesives have already proven a success, taking the place of other joining methods in the industry.

Less than a quarter the amount of adhesive is required compared with conventional two-part products.

Very thin layers are easily reproducible (less than 20um) without any problems, enabling optimum performance of the ferrite.

As the curing process is anaerobic or light/anaerobic cured, no oven curing is required, speeding up some current production processes.

Initial bond strength is achievable after seconds and functional strength after 2-4min.

Delo's anaerobic curing adhesive Delo-ML 5327 has a tensile/shear strength (MPa) of 33 and is temperature resistant from -60 to +200C.

Delo's light and anaerobic curing adhesive Delo-ML 5849, can be cured with visible light (400-500nm) offering functional strength within 8s, thus allowing even more rapid processing.
