Invensys will provide consulting, software products and a range of integration, implementation, testing and training services.
Cheniere is undertaking the TOMS project for its Sabine Pass LNG terminal to establish best practices for safety, customer service, operational efficiency, security and compliance with regulatory, statutory, commercial and financial reporting requirements.
The TOMS system will automate and integrate business processes in customer services, production operations and compliance management.
More than 20 critical software systems will be integrated within the TOMS and with Cheniere's enterprise level business systems.
The software systems range from ship tracking and terminal operations planning, to enterprise asset management, operations execution, LNG tank composition, terminal performance management, incident management and security monitoring.
The TOMS implementation will be founded on a unified architecture, universal data exchange with enterprise systems, standard interfaces, data storage and retrieval, modular architecture, and web-based products.
The contract builds on previous Invensys performance in the Sabine Pass project.
Invensys had been awarded, and completed, the front end engineering and design for the TOMS for Sabine Pass.
The objective of this effort was to provide a high-level design system that would facilitate safety, reliability, maintainability, operation efficiency and integration of terminal operations information systems, enabling an upward integration from the terminal's unit level controls to Cheniere's corporate offices.
Invensys can provide consultative skills, including business understanding and methodology, information technology, LNG technical knowledge and LNG technologies.
