Invensys Process Systems is to open its first office in Aberdeen as part of the North Sea initiative and escalation in the company's United Kingdom Continental Shelf (UKCS) business.

Invensys Process Systems is to open its first office in Aberdeen as part of the North Sea initiative and escalation in the company's United Kingdom Continental Shelf (UKCS) business.

Located adjacent to the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre, the new Invensys office will provide facilities for service support, engineering, system staging, and strategic sales, as well as a comfortable customer lounge area.

The office will accommodate up to 20 people, with the option to double in size, if required.

Establishing a permanent office in Aberdeen will help Invensys better support its current upstream oil and gas customers in the UKCS region and helps to demonstrate the company's commitment to further grow its upstream business.

The official opening is planned for March 2007.
