Compact temperature monitors can replace
4 sensors

With four independently adjustable set-point outputs, the compact new TR8 temperature monitor from IFM Electronic offers savings on mounting, wiring and space

With four independently adjustable set-point outputs, the new TR8 temperature monitor from IFM Electronic offers savings on mounting, wiring and space in applications which require comprehensive, accurate and reliable temperature control Each of the compact units, which feature robust IP67 construction, can replace as many as four conventional sensors to monitor, for example, high and low alarm temperatures, as well as normal high and low operating temperatures

As an additional benefit, TR8 monitors feature an integral four-digit seven-segment display which makes accurate setting easy, and which, during normal operation, provides a convenient readout of the current working temperature.

LED indicators are also incorporated to provide instant visual confirmation of the status of the outputs.

Fully compatible with standard Pt100 and Pt1000 temperature sensors, and ideally suited for use with IFM's TS cabled and TT probe-type sensors, TR8 temperature monitors have a setting range of -40 C to +150 C, in increments of 0.2.

Programmable functions include hysteresis/window, normally open/normally closed outputs, minimum/maximum operation, memory reset, and operation in either Celsius or Fahrenheit.

All settings are achieved via a convenient and simple pushbutton system.

Designed for operation from nominal 24V DC supplies, TR8 sensors have solid-state outputs rated at 500mA.

Short-circuit, overload and reverse-polarity protection is provided as standard.

Connections to the units are made via industry-standard M12 connectors, and available accessories include mounting clamps and protective covers. Request a free brochure from IFM Electronic ...
