Sensors handle food industry conditions

IFM Electronic's M8 sensors are resistant to high-pressure cleaning and aggressive cleaning agents.

IFM Electronic has released M8 sensors made of stainless steel that feature high ingress resistance in extreme applications (IP68) Due to the permissible temperature range of 0-100C and the high resistance to temperature shocks the inductive sensors are particularly suited for use in the food and pharmaceutical industries

The food-grade housing materials high-grade stainless steel / PEEK meet the special requirements of the application and are resistant to high-pressure cleaning and aggressive cleaning agents.

The M8 thread of the sensor housing consisting of high-grade stainless steel permits increased tightening torques during installation.

The front face of the sensor is made of PEEK and is resistant to all cleaning agents.

The increased sensing range of 4mm (non flush mountable) guarantees higher uptime of the machine.

The sensor can be easily connected via a standardised M12 connector. Request a free brochure from IFM Electronic ...
