Object sensor improves error proofing
The Efector Dualis object sensor offers cost-effective checking of presence, position and orientation.
IFM electronic has released the Efector Dualis object sensor Sorting, inspection and error-proofing tasks that used to need a complex system can now be done with a sensor half the price of others on the market

Object sensors cut the costs of quality control
The dualis is a stand-alone unit with integrated lighting and it's constructed in a rugged diecast housing with an IP67 rating for use over a temperature range of -10 to +60C.
It can check for the presence of a known object, with an exact position, or check that the object is facing in the right direction.
It will check that the object is complete.
Normally these tasks require an array of sensors, but Dualis is simple and inexpensive.

The detection algorithm is one of the most advanced, industrial evaluation algorithms currently available.
Contour detection and verification is fast and robust.
Dualis itself will store many different settings in its own internal memory, and the choice of functions available on the outputs is unrivalled.
The dualis operating concept is simple.
The menu-driven PC setting via Ethernet makes it a quick task to set up the application.
With error image memory and stored evaluation data the interface also provides a useful diagnostic resource. Request a free brochure from IFM Electronic ...
