Radar sensor watches small tank levels

Electronic level sensor for small tanks uses the measuring principle of guided wave radar.

The Efector GWR microwave sensor is an electronic level sensor for small tanks in industrial automation that uses the measuring principle of guided wave radar The control monitor measures the level using electromagnetic pulses in the nanosecond range

The pulses are transmitted by the sensor head and guided along the probe.

If the microwave pulse hits the medium to be detected, it is reflected, guided back to the sensor and evaluated.

The probe currently is available in three lengths: 240, 450 and 700mm.

The sensor is directly installed in the tank via the process connection or a flange.

If necessary, the probe can be easily shortened (cut) and adapted to the tank by the user.

Setting of all parameters as well as programming of the switch points and indication of the current level are carried out via a four-digit alphanumeric display. Request a free brochure from IFM Electronic ...
