Laser distance sensor tolerates bright
light
The sensor has a robust diecast housing that measures 42 x 45 x 52mm and provides the user with two selectable switchpoints, or a single switched output combined with a scalable analogue signal.
IFM electronic's O1D optical laser distance sensor handles outdoor applications, withstanding light levels of up to 100klx (equivalent to a bright sunny day) The sensor needs to be able to work outside because it has a range of up to 75m to a prismatic reflector
The O1D106 uses IFM electronic's PMD chip, calculating distance by time-of-flight using a single chip.
This keeps the dimensions of the sensor to a minimum and keeps the cost down.
It has a robust diecast housing that measures 42 x 45 x 52mm and provides the user with two selectable switchpoints, or a single switched output combined with a scalable analogue signal.
All O1D versions are fitted with the standard M12 industrial connector and feature a four-digit LED display panel on the top of the unit, next to the setting buttons. Request a free brochure from IFM Electronic ...
