Level sensor spots leakage

An IFM Electronic product story

The two programmable outputs of the leakage monitor detect sudden, as well as progressive, leakage without additional programming of the controller.

IFM Electronic's LL sensor has four independent switching outputs and can continuously monitor coolant or hydraulic fluid levels in all kinds of vessels.

It will indicate an overfill of the vessel with an extra switchpoint, which for safety reasons is completely independent of the level measurement.

The two programmable outputs of the leakage monitor detect sudden, as well as progressive, leakage without additional programming of the controller.

The LT series has four outputs, two for level monitoring and two more which can be set to monitor the temperature of the medium anywhere between - 10 and 100C.

The integration of the level, overflow and leakage monitoring functions in one unit eliminates the need for additional mounting, wiring and software input.

Both the LL and LT series mount in the top of the vessel and are available in lengths of 264, 472 and 728mm.

Both series come with a four-digit alphanumeric display and eight status LEDs and they connect via an industry standard M12 connector.
