AS-i gateways come with M4 master profile support for all AS-i slaves from specifications 1.0 to 3.0.
New AS-i gateways added to the e family of controllers from IFM Electronic come with M4 master profile support for all AS-i slaves from specifications 1.0 to 3.0.
These AS-i masters allow access to all the extended facilities of the AS-i 3.0 standard.
The user has easy access to all AS-i data via the fieldbus, the integrated PLC and the integrated graphics display.
The display shows detailed information in plain text, indicating the fault location and an unambiguous fault number.
Clearly visible status LEDs indicate the correct operation (green) or certain selected operating modes, such as projection mode (yellow) and faults such as missing slaves (red).
The AS-i controller e devices are available with Profibus DP, CANopen or Ethernet interface options.
All versions can be supplied with one or two AS-i masters.
Up to 62 A/B slaves or 31 single slaves can be connected to each AS-i master.
The e controller devices are protected to IP20 and can be used at operating temperatures between -25 and +70C.
The gateways support common fieldbuses such as Profibus DP V1, CANopen, DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP and Modbus TCP.
