Sensors and actuators used in the food industry are exposed to acids, alkalis, cleaning agents, temperature shocks, high-pressure cleaners and high air humidity.

IFM Electronic's ProcessLine series of four-channel AS-i analogue input modules is designed for use in areas with extreme cleaning requirements.

The 4-20mA AC2916 and AC2923 are available with IP68 IP69K and Ecolab certification.

The housing has been designed without corners and edges preventing the buildup of dirt.

The four process connections are M12 connections with radial sealing and they are suited to the connection of two and three-wire sensors (AC2916) or two and four-wire sensors (AC2923).
