IFM unveils O5 series laser sensors

The O5 series of sensors from IFM Electronic covers a through-beam system, a retro-reflective sensor with polarisation filter and a diffuse reflection sensor with background suppression.
An object 1.5mm across can be detected at a distance of 200mm against a background, or a 3mm object over 60m.
The series covers a powerful through-beam system, a retro-reflective sensor with polarisation filter and a diffuse reflection sensor with background suppression.
Visible laser light facilitates alignment of the sensors (to the object or the reflector) and the simple pushbutton set-up saves time and additional costs during commissioning.
An industry-standard M12 connector is provided for the electrical connection, and a range of accessories guarantees fast and flexible fixing of the sensors.
