Being very small, only 25mm in length, is a bonus for short cylinders.

The fixing method also ensures that they remain in position no matter how much movement there is in the cylinder or strain on the cable.

Even weak magnets are not a problem for the AMR sensing cell incorporated into the fast-acting MK51 cylinder sensors.

Installation is claimed to be simple; if the cylinder has a T-slot, the switch drops in, slides into position and is then tightened up.

If there is no T-slot, IFM Electronic offers adapters to ensure a good fit.

Electrically common options are catered for, with open and closed functions and positive or negative switching.

The connection can be made via 2m cables or shorter lengths with standard M8 or M12 connectors.
