The Process and Building Solutions division of Intergraph Corporation has announced the appointment of Jay Stinson as vice president, Enterprise Engineering Solutions.

The Process and Building Solutions division of Intergraph Corporation has announced the appointment of Jay Stinson as vice president, Enterprise Engineering Solutions.

The Enterprise Engineering Solutions group provides engineering IT services for the global process and power industries.

Stinson is responsible for administration, business development, planning, strategic direction and ensuring customer satisfaction.

He directs three regional operations units covering Americas and India; Europe, Africa and the Middle East; and Asia Pacific in addition to a global strategic marketing organisation.

Services provided by the Enterprise Engineering Solutions group include business and technical consulting, implementation, training, customisation, operation, support and integration with business systems.

Software products include the Intergraph Notia(tm) engineering data warehouse and the Directa(tm) engineering document and drawing management system.

Comprehensive solutions provided by the group help engineering, procurement and construction firms as well as plant owner/operators to optimize engineering applications, information and work processes for competitive advantage.

"With his 18 years of experience, Jay brings extensive expertise in services and project implementation," said Ed Edmondson, executive vice president and chief operating officer, Intergraph Process and Building Solutions.

"Jay will be an asset to Intergraph Process and Building Solutions and will help achieve our objectives to grow our professional services business.

Stinson previously served as vice president of Professional Services, Intergraph Communication and Utilities division, from 1996 to 2000.

He joined Intergraph Corporation in 1982 and served in a variety of positions including executive manager, program and project manager, sales representative and software analyst.

Stinson holds a master's degree in Administrative Science from the Florida Institute of Technology and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Alabama Huntsville.

He is a member of the Project Management Institute and is a Certified Project Management Professional.
