Computer-aided drawing entry level package lets users in the manufacturing market create electrical plans quickly and easily.

The IGE+XAO Group has launched SEE Electrical LT, a computer-aided drawing package that lets users create electrical plans quickly and easily.

It is an entry level package for the manufacturing market.

With its adapted functionalities, the software is targeted towards those users who need to produce less complex electrical plans, and those who only need to use an electrical CAD package occasionally.

Users can rapidly construct standardised electrical schematics.

Thanks to its hundreds of symbols and diverse functionalities, it is a suitable tool for designing an electrical installation plan, three-phase or automation schematic.

Once the design is complete, the package can create a parts list of all components used.

If desired, this can then be exported to an external spreadsheet or database program such as Microsoft Excel or Access.

All the functionalities have been designed for occasional users by field specialists.

The intuitive interface requires no training, allowing the user to be productive right from installation.

The package also allows working simultaneously across several projects, as multiple windows can be opened if required.

One of the key strengths is that it is readily upgradable according to the user's needs.

If more complex projects are being undertaken, the software can be upgraded to more advanced packages such as SEE Electrical Caddy++ Basic, Standard or Advanced.

This gives the user access to functionalities such as automatic cross-references, terminal strip management, automatic wire numbering and project language translation.

SEE Electrical LT is available in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Bulgarian and Polish.
