Shaft mount speed reducers can now be mounted quickly and easily using Leroy Somer PB sleeves.
Shaft mount speed reducers can now be mounted quickly and easily using Leroy Somer PB sleeves The novel design combines the ease of fitting found with tapered bushes, with the reliability of a keyed shaft
The bushes have a threaded section at one end.
This engages with a locknut on the gearbox and is used to draw the sleeve into the gearbox and onto the shaft.
A hook spanner to adjust the sleeve nut is provided free with every unit.
The units are also easy to dismount using the same threaded sleeve.
A wide range of bore dimensions are available, so retro-fitting the PB unit to existing applications is hassle free.
