Triconex has been recognised by the readers of Control magazine as the best manufacturer of safety and emergency shutdown systems for the process automation industry - for the seventh consecutive year
Triconex, an operating unit of Invensys Systems, is announcing that for the seventh consecutive year it has been recognised by the readers of Control magazine as the best manufacturer of safety and emergency shutdown systems for the process automation industry.
The company was also recognised by the readership as a vendor offering exceptional customer service.
The 2004 "Readers' Choice Awards" cover 65 industrial automation categories and are presented to vendors that have distinguished themselves as providers of the best technologies and customer service according to a survey of the publication's readership.
Readers use a variety of criteria in selecting top vendors including prior business experience as well as their knowledge and familiarity with the products.
In addition, readers also take into account the cost versus benefit of the solutions, ease of use, performance, reliability and service life.
"Being honored by customers in the industry as the best manufacturer in this particular category is a significant achievement for both Triconex and Invensys," said Tracey Sledge, vice president and general manager for Triconex.
"Having won this award for the seventh consecutive year validates our strategy to respond effectively to the full spectrum of our customers' requirements both in terms of technology and customer service".
In garnering the Readers' Choice Award, Triconex was selected above others in the industry by a margin of three to one.
Aside from polling readers on vendors with the best technology, Control magazine also asked respondents to rank the companies in terms of customer service.
Readers ranked Triconex as an exceptional service provider, giving the company the highest score possible.
