More optical encoders are made for washdown

Washdown encoders are designed with a stainless steel cover and housing and can be obtained with an IP67 sealing option.

In response to increasing demand, Industrial Encoder Corporation has expanded its selection of optical encoder products for washdown applications.

Typical applications for IEC's washdown and stainless steel encoders are: food processing (meat, poultry, and dairy products, slicing and filling); packaging, filling and inspection (including soft drinks and beer); materials handling and conveyor equipment; and pharmaceutical, health and beauty products manufacturing.

The washdown encoders are designed with a stainless steel cover and housing and can be obtained with an IP67 sealing option.

IEC's product line includes: incremental and absolute optical encoders (hollow shaft and with shaft); heavy duty industrial ratings; hollow shaft encoders with bores up to 65mm; and motor mounting friendly hollow shaft encoders.
