"Materials World" is the monthly publication of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3) This month's issue focuses on plastics and rubbers, and includes: "The business of plastics", exploring the major changes taking place in engineering thermoplastics; "Rubber stamped", a new type of elastomer rubber offers improved processability; and "Inside the fibre matrix", strengthening composite polymers by fibre orientation
In addition, Materials World carries industry and conference news, as well as event listings.
The mining feature in March's issue covers software to simulate mining hardware.
