Milton Keynes based IKO Nippon Thompson reckons it is proving to be one of the world's most innovative manufacturers of both standard and special application products As a company recognised for helping clients with "one-off" special applications, IKO has become aware that many of its special products have much wider appeal than the single application for which they were originally designed

This has led the company to integrate a selection of specials into its "standard" products ranges and so widen market appeal.

One such product is the CRWG series of anti-creep crossed roller ways.

The new range, available in three sizes with 15 variants and a host of subvariants, is fully interchangeable with the company's CRW range of products which continues to be offered.

The anticreep feature sees a new rack-and-pinion gear introduced into the cage that eliminates movement and creep.

Moreover, the new product overcomes the limitations of competing guides by performing well in vertical axis applications.

The CRWG crossed roller way products require no adjustment and perform smoothly even in long-term use.

Operating temperatures for the engineered resin rack-and-pinion gear are 100C for continuous use applications which can rise to 120C for intermittent use applications.
