ICS will be exhibiting at the 7th World Congress of Chemical Engineering which is being held next week at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre in Glasgow.

It runs from 10th to 14th July 2005, and entry to the exhibition is free.

The event which is held every 4 years will be one of the largest gatherings of process and chemical engineers from around the world, with more than 2000 paying delegates expected.

Following the highly successful 6th congress which was held in Melbourne, Australia in 2001 the event is returning to Europe for the first time in 14 years.

The congress will feature special industry-led sessions focusing on chemical engineering at the sharp end.

These sessions will include feature contributions on issues such as plant performance, asset integrity and legislative compliance.

ICS will be on Stand 3.8 at the exhibition which runs along side the congress.

The company will be showing the latest developments in its Imac alarm monitoring and analysis software and demonstrating how the products are used in practical applications to improve plant safety and efficiency.

The company will also be featuring its new web based alarm override and suppression logbook software called Imac Custodian.

Information on their range of alarm rationalisation services will also be available for organisations wishing to analyse and reduce their number of alarms but have neither the time nor the manpower to do it themselves.
