Training aids efficient use of alarm software

An ICS (Industrial Control Software) product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jan 19, 2006

Workshop training courses for control room operators and their supervisors increase the effectiveness of the IMAC range of alarm monitoring and analysis software.

Industrial Control Software, the producer of the IMAC range of alarm monitoring and analysis software, now offers a series of workshop training courses for control room operators and their supervisors.

The practical courses aimed at users of the 1000 IMAC systems installed worldwide, have already proved popular with companies such as Shell, BHP Billiton, BP and Marathon Oil.

One BP delegate who recently attended a course said: "I've been on a number of courses run by manufacturers in the past and think IMAC sets the standard for training that other companies should follow".

Due to the wide geographic distribution of installed IMAC systems, ICS has the facilities to offer the workshop training courses on the customer's site wherever they are in the world.

Sean Herring, ICS's Sales and Marketing Manager said: "ICS pride ourselves on the high level of service we offer our customers".

"Training is yet another way we can ensure they get the most out of their IMAC system".

"From the customer's point of view, an optimised IMAC system can help increase production levels, increase profitability and improve overall site safety by better alarm handling".
