Website illustrates how the IMAC suite of software can be used in a day to day plant environment to help rationalise the number of alarms and events.
Industrial Control Software has a new website.
ICS is the producer of the IMAC suite of process alarm management software which is used extensively throughout a number of key industry sectors including oil and gas, chemical, power and pharmaceutical.
From comprehensive alarm handling to sophisticated reporting and analysis, the IMAC suite of software combines a clear, easy to use operator interface for viewing alarms in a control room, with a powerful suite of engineering tools allowing the user to carry out a whole range of tasks from simple alarm printer replacement to detailed alarm analysis and rationalisation.
Given the importance placed on improving plant safety and increasing efficiency through better alarm handling, the new website focuses on the key issues related to alarm management which are highlighted in guidelines issued by the Engineering Equipment and Materials Users' Association (EEMUA), the UK's Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and the ISA's SP18 Committee.
With sample screen shots and tutorial style online movies, the website is intended to allow visitors to quickly grasp how the IMAC suite of software can be used in a day to day plant environment to help rationalise the number of alarms and events, thereby optimising overall plant performance.
In addition, the links section of the site offers visitors a useful source of general information relating to the topic of alarm management.
With more than 1000 systems installed worldwide, ICS believe that their new website is a vital link to improving communications with their clients and potential customers.
