CAE technology conference attracts big guns
This year's Altair Technology Conference will take place on 2nd November at the Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon.
This has included both the human health and the environmental aspects of the use of nickel metal and its associated salts.
The conclusions of the risk assessment will inevitably require a change in working practices for many of the industries using these materials.
As the plating industry is one of the major consumers of both nickel metal and soluble salts it will be one of those affected by any changes in legislation.
It is vitally important for companies in the nickel plating industry to be fully aware of the nature of the RA process and its implications for their industry.
Only by being fully informed at this stage will companies be in a position to plan any changes in equipment and working practices that will be necessary in order for them to comply with new legislation arising from the conclusions of the RA programme.
