Midland Engineering Services is set to distribute Industrial Gas Springs' gas springs, dampers, locking and tension gas springs in Scotland.
Industrial Gas Springs (IGS) has appointed Midland Engineering Services (MES) as official distributor in Scotland of its comprehensive range of gas springs, dampers, locking and tension gas springs.
"With business increasing in Scotland it makes sense to have someone on the ground locally who can provide a quick response", explains Field Sales Manager James Godbold.
"MES has the expertise to support our existing customer base in the region and this arrangement provides us with the opportunity to build new business there".
An independent supplier of bearings and power transmission products, MES also stocks various general engineering components for both local and national companies including THK Linear, Matara Pneumatics and Rexnord Chains.
"As a bearing and transmission supplier we are very pleased to add another quality product to our extensive range, especially one that complements the products we currently supply to many special-purpose machine builders in Scotland", says Managing Director of MES, Steve Thomas.
