A new dual-range torque transducer provides precise measurement of low operating torques but can withstand (and measure) high peak torques without damage.

A new dual-range torque transducer provides precise measurement of low operating torques but can withstand (and measure) high peak torques without damage.

It has turndown ratios of 10:1 or 5:1 and gives +/-0.1% accuracy on the high scale and +/-0.2% on the lower one.

This series of transducer now covers torques from 0.02 to 5000Nm.

It has new "smart" integral electronics providing a 0+/-5 or 0+/-10V output for each range and also provides 60 TTL pulses for speed measurement.

Direct RS232 communications for torque is an option, along with a range of digital readouts for torque, speed and power.

The smaller transducers in this series have a maximum speed of 20,000rev/min with 50,000rev/min available as an option.
