Industrial Measurements has launched an entirely new product, the NCF electromechanical joining system.

Higher specification requirements and a need for more economical production are increasing the pressure on companies to fully monitor and document the quality of their production processes Quite apart from any internal need to ensure a repeatable process and a quality product, customers are far more demanding in their information requests on suppliers, both in terms of proof of quality and certification

As a result, areas which perhaps were more relaxed with regard to process scrutiny, now fully embrace SPC doctrines, one such area is press assembly monitoring.

It is now becoming the norm to employ electromechanical equipment for press insert assembly which in turn allows the use of built-in load cells and absolute encoders so that every component pressed can be closely monitored for force of stroke, length of stroke and position.

Now Industrial Measurements has launched an entirely new product, the NCF electromechanical joining system.

Not only is great accuracy maintained and waste reduced, but in addition all necessary documentation can be easily generated either as hard copy or direct to PC.

For the past four years, in addition to its traditional activities, Industrial Measurements has distributed the products of a German company, Staiger Mohilo.

According to Industrial Measurements' Business Development Manager, Keith Lilley: "As our confidence in the quality and precision of their products has grown, so has our commitment to their range".

"And as a result, we now proudly offer their press insert equipment within the UK".
