The Easi-Torque has been designed as a direct result of customer feedback and incorporates several new features.

The latest power tool torque tester from Industrial Measurements, the Easi-Torque comes as a direct result of customer feedback and incorporates several new features As torque analysers become increasingly complicated, the danger is always that the user who simply requires a rugged easy-to-use unit, that he can be taken into the factory or workshop without fear of damage is forgotten

IML has engaged with this group of users with its latest offering.

The Easi-Torque is extremely rugged and very simple to use, with no confusing menus to navigate.

Peak hold automatically resets after five seconds to enable a quick series of results to be taken from a power tool when speed is of the essence, or track mode can be selected for dial indicating screwdriver monitoring.

Often certain parts of the production area can be poorly lit, which often means it is difficult to read an LCD.

The Easi-Torque has an LED display for clarity, which changes colour to indicate a peak torque capture but still provides a full 20 hours of use from the inbuilt battery Available in 1, 2, 5 or 10Nm versions, the units can be used to check/calibrate most types of hand or power screwdrivers.

Each instrument comes complete with a traceable calibration certificate and a run down fixture for power tool use.

The Easi-Torque has an accuracy of better than +/-0.5% over the operating range and a mechanical overload protection.

The cost of the Easi-Torque is such that IML reckons even companies with as few as ten torque wrenches can justify in-house calibration.
