Torque meters identify machinery problems

An Industrial Measurements product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Feb 5, 2009

TCO clamp-on torque meters from Industrial Measurements are designed to avoid plant downtime by identifying processing machinery problems in their early stages.

This device can be used on any equipment that is stirring, mixing, grinding, milling, pumping, blowing, extruding, moulding or simply transferring goods on a conveyor.

By measuring drive shaft torque, any increase in load is quickly identified, and action can be taken to correct the fault before serious damage has occurred.

The TCO torque meter can be coupled to an alarm or shut-off switch depending on the requirements of the plant.

The TCO system can be fitted to almost any diameter shaft and runs on batteries.

It can be moved around the factory to wherever there are trouble spots.
