An Illston and Robson product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Nov 16, 2006

Inline spring retained ball joints are particularly suited to commercial plant manufacturers and industrial animation applications.

Illston and Robson has improved its range of in house manufactured ball joints.

The latest additions are a range of inline spring retained ball joints, particularly suited to commercial plant manufacturers and industrial animation applications.

Currently available in M5, M6 and M8 thread sizes, they expand the already large range of motion control components available from Illston and Robson.

Focusing on UK manufacture, Colin Reid, MD of Illston and Robson, has invested in a number of machines so far this year, and plans to develop the range further with the addition of larger clevis yoke parts for automotive applications, to complement the company's service to the commercial vehicle market.

Says Reid: "There is a definite need for a UK manufacturer of these components to provide fast and efficient local service".

The aim at Illston and Robson is to provide standard and bespoke components together as a one stop shop service, with tight controls on quality and flexibility of service.
