Latest breakthroughs in low-cost sensor technologies for high-end machine vision systems are the subject of free seminars being organised by the world 's leading vision system supplier - Cognex.

Four FREE seminars featuring their new In-Sight 2000 machine vision sensor are being held (see dates below).

Seminars will be dynamic and interactive and inform delegates of the latest breakthroughs.

Lasting two-hours the course will show delegates how companies can now cost-effectively measure part dimensions, verify component assembly, guide robotic assembly and align and inspect parts, all to the performance standards normally expected of high-end vision systems.

Using In-sight 2000, companies can reduce scrap costs and inventory level problems and enhance the customer delivery experience.

The In-Sight seminars are aimed at engineers or managers in engineering, production and automation departments across a variety of industries, including automotive, food and drink, pharmaceutical, medical and consumer products and electronics.

The venues and dates of the seminars are as follows...

- Tuesday 24th October, Warwick.

- Wednesday 15th November, Bradford.

- Wednesday 22nd November, Epsom.

- Wednesday 13th December, Cardiff.
