TDCi, a distributor of engineering, business, support and custom solutions, has signed a master agreement to join ImpactXoft's Need Speed reseller programme.

TDCi will distribute and support the IX Speed Suite via its network of worldwide partners.

Since launching its reseller programme a year ago, ImpactXoft has continued to successfully expand its global network of distribution partners across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific.

TDCi provides solutions that address the data issues found in many of today's engineering design organisations.

The company's skills have evolved over the years to cover many areas of engineering application development as well as implementation, training and support of standard applications in the product lifecycle management arena.

Its professional team has extensive skills and experience that can be applied as easily to the development, integration and deployment of out-of-the box systems as to the creation of complex custom applications.

As a master reseller for ImpactXoft, TDCi will be responsible for selling the IX Speed Suite and signing and supporting distribution partners and customers in their region.

The IX Speed Suite is a powerful design environment for simultaneous product development (SPD) that features industry solutions specialised to meet the needs of vertical disciplines that develop products for the electronics and electrical (E and E) and consumer goods markets.

All products in the suite feature functional modelling and collaborative design capabilities that help drive a more flexible, productive, and innovative product development process.

The product suite ensures that colocated as well as globally dispersed teams of professionals - spanning critical roles such as industrial design, product engineering, mould and tooling design, and NC manufacturing - can take advantage of highly specialised toolsets while working in parallel to develop market-competitive products.

"ImpactXoft's products have come a long way from the standard CAD systems that are restricted to a parametric modelling process", said Martin Allen, President TDCi.

"With its unique technology for functional modelling and the ability for product developers to work in parallel on their 3D designs, the IX Speed Suite offers companies an approach that's unique and different, one that will shorten their product development cycles, reduce their costs, and improve the quality of their engineered products".

"By offering this solution to our customers, we are confident that we can help dramatically improve the way they develop products".

"The core strength of TDCi is in their technology expertise", said Martin Welch, ImpactXoft Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

"That's why they understand the value of the ImpactXoft technology in offering their clients the ability to develop high quality products with unprecedented speed and flexibility".

"We are happy to welcome them into our Need Speed programme and look forward to supporting them in their efforts to promote the IX Speed Suite of 3D design and collaborative solutions to product developers in Europe".

Today's announcement marks the continued growth of ImpactXoft's Need Speed reseller channel programme in Europe and around the world.

The programme is open to qualified VARs that serve the major mechanical computer-aided design and collaborative solutions markets, including consumer goods and electronics manufacturers as well as automotive and aerospace suppliers.
