ImpactXoft and IMS Software have formed a business partnership and launched IMSpost software within ImpactXoft's IX Manufacturing solution.
ImpactXoft and IMS Software have formed a business partnership and launched IMSpost software within ImpactXoft's IX Manufacturing solution.
IMSpost from IMS Software is the world's most advanced postprocessing software and transforms CAD/CAM cutter location (CL) files into the specific machine codes (G/M codes) required by NC machines.
IMSpost works seamlessly with all major CAD/CAM systems, hardware platforms, and NC machines, in one easy to use interface.
IMS provides a library of postprocessors within IX Manufacturing to drive CNC machines from numerous machine tool vendors with support of over 50 different CNC controllers.
IX Manufacturing customers will now have access to the most extensive postprocessor library as well as simulation solutions for any level of machining complexity available in the market.
IX Manufacturing is part of ImpactXoft's IX SPeeD Suite, a powerful design environment for simultaneous product development (SPD) that features industry solutions specialised for vertical disciplines participating in the development of products for the electronics and electrical (E and E) and consumer goods markets.
IX Manufacturing is a robust solution for machining and manufacturing specialists that need dedicated tools to work productively with product engineers.
In addition to powerful 3D modelling capability, IX Manufacturing covers the entire manufacturing process including tool path definition, milling, drilling and pocket operations, computation, verification, NC programming and automatic shop floor documentation.
