Autodesk reseller restructures team
UK reseller of manufacturing CAD products for Autodesk has restructured its team, creating four senior roles and establishing a centralised customer service helpdesk.

The company has also strengthened its technical team with the promotion of Steve Finnigan and Steve Proud to the new position of Technical Manager and Marc Pattinson to Support Engineer.
Other newly-developed roles include that of Office Manager (Vikki Hebden) whose responsibility spans the Newcastle and Aberdeen offices.
Victoria Sunter also joins the team as Marketing Co-ordinator responsible for activities across the whole of Imass.

"Although many local businesses had moved their production facilities offshore, they have kept their design office open here".
"Consequently, the area is becoming a centre of excellence for manufacturing design".
"Recent developments in the software used for this - for example, the move to 3D design where the designer develops a virtually real model of the product - can save manufacturers a significant amount of time and cost".
