Most professional engineers have never been involved in any form of litigation; but it can happen very easily indeed.

Most professional engineers have never been involved in any form of litigation; but it can happen very easily indeed.

An engineer's company may be involved with litigation with a supplier, a customer, or a patent infringement.

Such scenarios often prove very costly and can absorb inordinate amounts of time.

The IMmechE is hosting a seminar on 12th October 2004 to provide information that will help engineers conduct their business and be prepared for any eventuality - including how to serve as an expert witness.

At the seminar one of the country's major training providers, Bond Solon, will be announcing a discount scheme for delegates who undertake training.

Discounts will be offered on the very basic requirements (two one day courses that consider report writing and courtroom procedure) and on the full five day courses that lead to the Cardiff University Expert Witness Certificate (the report writing and courtroom procedure forms part of this).
