Technologies for Niche Vehicle Design, Development and Manufacturing Seminar on 12 September 2006 at Hethel Engineering Centre, Hethel, Norwich, Norfolk.

Success in low volume, niche vehicle manufacturing is reliant on business case drivers, investment decisions and the technologies used.

This seminar will examine these issues, with emphasis on novel vehicle architectures, effective vehicle design and development processes and the role of the supply chain.

Organised by a team from Lotus engineering, the seminar will include a factory tour of the Norfolk site and will enable delegates to identify solutions for profitable, reduced volume vehicle manufacture; have the opportunity of understanding current and new technologies and their application to future niche vehicle manufacture and become aware of design methodologies and simulation tools.
