Integrated Powertrain and Driveline Systems 2006 will be held on 3rd October at the IMechE headquarters in London.

The holistic view of powertrain development that includes engine, transmission and driveline is now well accepted.

However, this technology is still developing and this conference will explore the latest advances in integrated powertrain and driveline systems and look to future innovations.

Current trends show an increasing range of engines and transmissions with a consequent greater diversity of combinations.

Coupled with the increasing introduction of hybrid vehicles the scope for research, novel development and new products is clear.

This conference aims to address these areas with an emphasis on transmissions, whilst having an integrated vehicle systems theme.

With over 20 presentations from international authors within both industry and academia, the conference is an ideal platform to both increase knowledge of this dynamic field and to network and exchange ideas with authors, delegates and key decision makers.
