Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Aug 28, 2009

MIE Solutions will be exhibiting at Fabtech International in Chicago on 15-18 November, 2009.

Its range of software products for the manufacturing industry include its ERP Package, B2B Supplier Portal and Document Management Package.

MIE Solutions will be showing its ERP package MIE Trak 10.4 with over 100 new features including a QC module and HR Module.

It will also be showing its full rewrite of MIE QuoteIt complete job-shop estimating and quoting package; and its Online Industrial directory, enabling buyers to create requests for quotes.

Buyers and Suppliers can log into MIE Exchange and receive detailed reports, including request for quote log, history, prices and bid history in a web 2.0-enabled website.

All registered organisations are indexed in Google.

MIE will also be showing MIE Docs, a file-management system (DMS) designed for a single user up to an organisation of 1000's of users.

MIE Docs is designed for engineers to handle very large cad and 3D models and integrates off the shelf with any windows-based application using the standard windows open and save dialogue boxes.

MIE Docs centralises the storage of files into a virtual drive.

MIE Maintenance is a machine and equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance application that helps companies in asset-intensive industries to maintain their investments.

The package handles both maintenance requests and predefined maintenance tasks to notify maintenance teams to perform work - requests can then be denied or approved.

Once a maintenance request is approved, a work order is created to perform the work.

All the work can be logged into MIE Maintenance for historical reporting and fixed-asset reporting.
