MIE Solutions has released version 10.4 of its production-control software for the manufacturing industry.

MIE Trak 10.4 covers more than 100 new enhancements and changes to version 10.3.

For example, it can re-open a posted PO receiver to add more line items to it.

It can issue BOM items and substitute material from the WO BOM requirements query to modify requirements.

It features UPS/Fedex/US post-office tracking in shipping/invoicing.

It has a human-resource module and a quality-control module for sales-order RMAs.

The system traps the cyclic relations on quotes and routers to prevent the 'do nesting' error.

Work order assembly tree information now shows qty req, qty fab and due date of each product attachment.

It also features the ability to: customise screens company wide; export a fully exploded actual cost BOM tree to an excel spreadsheet from the work order; import a quote letter into sales order entry; and open the view assembly window and keep it open so the user can see what the quote price for the assembly is as they build the tree.

MIE Trak is an easy-to-use, production control and job-tracking solution designed to help increase operating profits without increasing overheads.

MIE Trak integrates all aspects of the fabrication business-process to provide vital management information when needed.

The MIE Trak ERP and MRP system is designed for the manufacturer that wants to improve its bottom line with a cost-effective software solution.

Enterprise resource planning (ERP) is a critical function for custom and made-to-order manufacturers.
