Hazardous area show returns to Coventry
HazardEx is back for its fifth consecutive year, and promises to offer delegates indispensable advice on complying with the ATEX Directive.
HazardEx is back for its fifth consecutive year and once again promises to offer delegates indispensable advice from the top companies in the hazardous area industry, when complying with the ATEX Directive The show will once again be held at The Britannia Royal Court Hotel, Coventry on the 22nd and 23rd February and includes an educational conference, exhibition and an awards ceremony

HazardEx 2006 comprises a two-day conference with presentations by HSE, Sira, Baseefa, Underwriters Laboratories, NICEIC, BP, British Nuclear Energy, Allied Distillers and Syngenta, on the ATEX and DSEAR directives.
Other presentations will be taking an in-depth look at functional safety systems including IEC61508, and Chris Aguis, Secretary of the IECEX will be flying in from Australia to speak about the scheme.
Additional sponsors include Weidmuller, MTL, Pepperl + Fuchs, IMT and the DTI.
Regular breaks will allow time to visit the quality selection of supplier exhibition stands on offer and ask further questions to the companies present.
In the evening of the first day, the annual awards ceremony will take place to recognise excellence in the industry in the following categories: technical innovation of the year, contribution towards safety, user application of the year and small/new business of the year.
The occasion promises to be a glittering affair with entertainment and a sit down meal included.
Nominations are now being taken with a deadline of 19th November 2005, and delegates can now book via the website.
